They work with the patient's physician, anesthesiologist, surgical nurse or surgeon to determine which specific tasks are required during each procedure. These tasks may include assisting clinicians during surgery, monitors patient and pump functions, and assisting with procedures to maintain the patency of vascular access devices, and administering diagnostic tests based on specific medical conditions and procedures.
