This method reduces the time necessary to produce, assemble, and test circuits because there is no need for manual insertion of components through holes in a circuit board printed with interconnecting lines. As modern electronics become increasingly complex, it becomes more practical to use automated assembly methods. The main responsibility of this job position is to oversee the equipment used for SMT assembly by ensuring required process control, adhering to timing and pace schedules, and performing checks on production jobs for accuracy.
