This position also retrieves medical records to verify eligibility on new patient visits and verifies records out for medical necessity or continuing treatment. Other duties include shipping medical and non-medical supplies, receiving and delivering laboratory specimens to local hospitals, and handling various administrative tasks associated with the registration department.
