The position of Night Auditor is to serve as the primary source of information when a guest arrives at the hotel. A Night Auditor will greet late arriving or registered guests and confirm their reservations. He or she is responsible for maintaining knowledge of the hotel policies, procedures, and services regarding accommodating guest needs, resolving guest problems, and preparing reports on daily operations. It is also a front desk clerk position that requires extensive data entry - involving check-ins, checkouts, and other tasks associated with computer entry using the front desk's terminal.
