Home Health Aides play an important role in promoting the health and independence of their clients by helping with common activities of daily living. Duties may include assisting with bathing, assisting with dressing (including applying prosthetics), helping to maintain a safe environment if client is bedridden, preparing simple meals, passing medications, and doing light housekeeping. Other duties may include taking blood pressure and temperatures, recording symptoms, giving shots, and reporting to doctor.
