EMTs are specially trained to provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients with life-threatening emergencies. EMTs must become proficient in performing a wide range of skills including: CPR, Bandaging/Bandaging Application, Suctioning/Intubation, Oxygen Administration, Rescue Techniques, Patient Assessment, Medication Administration and many other EMS related skills.
