Cargo Agents move and load cargo containers using tractors and hand trucks to ensure safety of personnel and cargo. They remove and reinstall cargo hold covers, inspect hold equipment, and clean the compartments. Cargo Agents also keep records of shipments, inventory, and missing or damaged cargo to ensure accuracy, enter data in computer, communicate with customers by telephone, and prepare reports.
