The Barback is responsible for supporting servers and bartenders by cleaning and setting up the bar to prepare service and breaking down the bar area afterward. He/She performs replenishment of stock, trash removal duties. The Barback prepares supplies necessary for individual drink orders, such as garnishes, mixers, wine, and Liqueurs. Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces using chemicals specified by the health department, collecting used linens and trash, disposing of waste in proper dumpsters and containers.
