They are responsible for the maintenance and repair of club equipment, tools, and facilities; making minor repairs to golf clubs in a shop with limited tools and a trained eye; and the set-up of practice areas with a knowledgeable eye mowing fairways and teeing areas. The Assistant Golf Professional may clean and sweep outside golf course areas; maintain carts in a shop, including routine checks, repairs as needed, and re-painting where applicable.
