Duties may include working from heights to treat the health and safety issues to trees; cutting and removing dead or hazardous limbs; applying chemicals; pruning; spraying for insect infestations; cleaning debris from sprinkler heads; installing climbing aids; and planting. He or she gathers and reports any tree information to the crew leader or land manager.
