Job Description

Working as a Copy Editor in Ipswich, QLD

A Copy Editor will work with a variety of different types of content, ensuring its accuracy and that it reads clearly. Editors are responsible for supporting the other editors both mechanically (prose, punctuation, spelling) and editorially (concepts, organization, flow). Similarly, they will play a crucial role in the team by ensuring that copy is changed and amended within assigned deadlines, working with writers to suggest changes when appropriate, and writing headlines and short descriptions bullet points where necessary. They will use all available resources to produce a copy that positively reflects on their company.
