To date, we’ve helped over 50 million people with their job search by connecting them with great opportunities from around the web. Over the past two years, we’ve been especially honored to support job seekers during an often difficult market throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yet just as we’ve been encouraged by improving conditions for job seekers in recent months, we’ve seen hiring challenges only grow for employers. With a record number of openings, standing out in the market is difficult. On top of that, increased worker movement and the Great Resignation have created new recruiting obstacles. Finding the right talent has never felt more competitive than it does right now.
That’s why today we’re excited to announce our new job posting product, so that we can help employers match with great candidates directly through Joblist.
Our job posting product is self-serve and easy for anyone to use. From the beginning, we designed it with simplicity in mind to provide an alternative to more complicated and expensive options on the market today.
Our goal is to help all employers – but especially small and medium-sized businesses which lack recruiting teams – reach a large and actively engaged audience of job seekers in a quick, easy, and affordable way.
In a recent survey, 52% of small business owners say it’s become more difficult to find qualified candidates in the last year, and 29% still can’t fill roles that have been open for three or more months. As a result, 40% of small businesses cite “identifying and hiring new employees” as the biggest challenge facing their business right now.
Joblist is addressing this unmet need by allowing any employer to promote a job opening to millions of active job seekers in the U.S. in just a few clicks. We then use our personalized matching technology to share the job with top candidates, both through the Joblist website and partner channels. To make the experience as seamless as possible, we don’t even require signing up for an account in order to post, and deliver applications however you wish to receive them – either via email or your own career page.
The average U.S. employer spends over $4,000 and 36 days to hire a new worker. Postings on Joblist are a flat $150 for 30 days and allow anyone in a hiring position to post a job in less than five minutes. We aim to fill roles more affordably and quickly, so that you can get back to work on growing your business.
Although today marks the public launch of our job posting product, it has been available to select customers during a “soft launch” phase for the last few months. During this time, we’ve been amazed by the early adoption.
Over 1,800 employers from across the country already post on Joblist. These employers come from over 1,000 distinct cities and towns, including at least one employer from every single state. From a small wine shop in Anchorage, to a horse farm outside St. Louis, to a large insurance agency in Newark, we’re helping employers of nearly all types and sizes find great candidates.
