Careers as an Electrician

Electricians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power systems in private homes, buildings, offices, and other establishments. An electrician can work in various commercial or residential settings, as well as other indoor and outdoor locations. An electrician's license varies by state. Electricians must be sure to comply with safety regulations and building codes as part of their job because they may also be working in hazardous conditions.
